Individual teenage participants are not required to create a personal Thinkific account to use the public Formationly Live teen participation pathway.
However, participation without registration does not necessarily mean that no personal information is processed.

We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary for identified purposes.
We will assess proposed new uses of personal information before implementing them.
5. Teenagers' Privacy
Formationly Live is designed primarily for teenagers ages 13–18 participating in church-coordinated biblical formation experiences.
Teen privacy is an important consideration in our educational design and operations.
Our intended practices include minimizing identifying information, avoiding unnecessary individual accounts for the teen participation pathway, and presenting group-level responses rather than individual responses during live teaching.
These protections do not eliminate all technical information processing.
We recognize that teenagers may disclose sensitive information in educational reflections.
Participants should avoid including identifying details or highly sensitive personal experiences in free-text responses unless an appropriate and clearly explained process is provided.
Formationly will assess what additional protections, notices, and consent procedures are required by applicable law.
6. Children Under 13
Formationly Live is designed primarily for ages 13–18.
Participation by children under 13 requires particular consideration under applicable children's privacy laws.
Where parental consent or other protections are legally required, Formationly will implement an appropriate process before collecting covered personal information.
We do not assume that church authorization alone satisfies every applicable parental consent requirement.
If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 has provided personal information through a Formationly service, they may contact us using the privacy contact information below.
We will review the circumstances and take appropriate action.
[VERIFICATION REQUIRED: Establish a documented under-13 eligibility, prevention, and response procedure before national rollout.]
7. Teen Pulse Participation and Group Results
Teen Pulse supports interactive educational participation in Formationly Live sessions.
The intended system design emphasizes group-level learning and protects participants from unnecessary public identification.
Formationly's current teaching model uses safeguards for displaying aggregated group results, including a minimum-participation threshold.
We do not intend to publicly display individual teenagers' responses as identifiable submissions during teaching sessions.
However, aggregate results may not always guarantee anonymity if participants can be identified through other information or if participation groups are sufficiently small.
We will assess the risk of re-identification and apply appropriate safeguards.
8. AI-Assisted and Adaptive Learning Features
Formationly Live may use controlled technology-assisted features to support session delivery.
The approved delivery model retains human Conductor control over instructional adaptations.
Before sending participant information to an external artificial intelligence provider, Formationly must evaluate the data involved, the provider's terms, retention, safeguards, and whether the processing is permitted.
Formationly does not represent that its technology is free of AI processing or that no participant information leaves its infrastructure without verifying those facts.
9. Church Partnership Information
Formationly's annual church partnership is administered through its educational commerce and onboarding systems.
Information collected from authorized adult representatives supports:
Purchase confirmation
Church identity and contact management
Partnership activation
Session coordination
Access instructions
Operational communications
Term and renewal tracking
Support and administration
Church representatives are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining appropriate internal authorization to act for their churches.
The applicable Church Partnership Agreement governs contractual responsibilities between Formationly and participating churches.
10. Payments and Transactions
Formationly uses third-party platforms to support financial transactions.
The Formationly Live Annual Church Partnership is structured as a one-time $500 purchase for a 365-day access term, with manual annual renewal.
Payment platforms may collect and process billing information, payment credentials, transaction details, and information needed for fraud prevention.
Formationly may receive transaction records and limited payment information necessary to administer purchases.
Payment processing is subject to relevant provider security procedures and privacy disclosures.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Formationly websites and digital services may use cookies, local storage, session mechanisms, or related technologies.
These technologies can support authentication, site operations, security, preferences, analytics, and service functionality.
Some third-party services may also use cookies or other identifiers.
The actual technologies and choices available to visitors depend on the specific website, embedded services, and active configurations.
Formationly will provide legally required notices and choices where applicable.
12. Embedded Media and Third-Party Content
Formationly may use third-party services to display video, educational media, publications, or other content.
When embedded media loads, the provider may process information about the request, device, browser, or related interactions.
Third-party services may have separate privacy policies.
Where practical and appropriate, Formationly will evaluate privacy-protective embedding options.
